The IACS-NCCU is built on the foundation of cross-college and interdisciplinary collaboration. The courses are supported by distinguished faculty from NCCU's College of Communication, Department of History, Department of Chinese Literature, Graduate Institute of Taiwanese Literature, Institute of Taiwanese History, Department of Ethnology, and International College of Innovation. Subject to faculty approval, elective slots are offered each semester, allowing graduate students from NCCU programs to enroll. Additionally, faculty members actively organize diverse academic activities, including summer courses, workshops, international conferences, and guest lectures, fostering students' cross-cultural perspectives and research capabilities.
