政大亞際學程特別邀請到慕尼黑大學視覺藝術與電影研究博士，現為VOGUE、GQ、TATLER等國際媒體的記者和影評人的Dr. Tatiana Rosenstein，11月底在政大舉辦兩場講座，從電影研究的觀點，分享當代影視美學與視覺敘事的發展趨勢。兩場講座皆開放一般民眾參與，不限政大師生，歡迎對議題有興趣者一起來聽喔！（講題介紹和報名方式如下）

From Storytelling to Effects: Experiments on Visual Vocabulary

This lecture explores how the experimental techniques of early-period cinema, particularly those of Russian formalists, challenged classical Hollywood narratives and were integrated into mainstream contemporary cinema. It examines how these techniques guide audience attention and create layered visual and emotional experiences, in both contemporary American and big-budget Korean films. The lecture also considers how early experiments with montage, rhythm, and visual composition have been reinterpreted in modern filmmaking, contributing to the evolution of cinematic visual vocabulary.
「蒙太奇」（montage）是電影敘事中不可或缺的表現手法，透過影像的對比與組合，使一部電影有了節奏、情緒和意義。在這場講座中，Dr. Rosenstein將介紹以前蘇聯導演艾森斯坦（Sergei Eisenstein）為代表的形式主義美學與蒙太奇表現，探討其如何挑戰好萊塢傳統敘事模式，並逐步融入當代主流電影，甚至影響後來的美國電影與韓國大型製作電影。講者將分析這些技巧在敘事題材、剪接手法與場面調度上的運用，如何帶給觀眾豐富的視覺與情感體驗。同時也會探討這些手法在近期串流媒體推出的作品中如何被重新詮釋，帶動影像美學的創新。

This lecture examines the rise of long-form serialized storytelling in contemporary media, including examples such as The White Lotus and Squid Game, focusing on the trend of “endless” narratives that build immersive worlds and sustain audience engagement. It explores social and psychological influences on viewers and considers how storytelling practices vary across different cultural contexts, such as American and Korean media, highlighting differences in pacing, character development, and thematic focus. The lecture also examines how serialized narratives shape audience expectations and contribute to the global circulation of contemporary cinema culture.
第二場講座將探討影視作品中的「長篇連續敘事」（long-form serialized storytelling）現象，並以《白蓮花大飯店》與《魷魚遊戲》等影集為例，分析作品中的「無盡敘事」（endless narratives）主題如何打造出令人沉浸的世界觀，吸引觀眾投入，並且帶動流行文化的跨國傳播。講者也將進一步分析不同文化脈絡下的影視作品，在角色發展與敘事主題上的異同，探討這些影集、敘事手法在社會與個人心理層面所帶來的影響。
